South Beach Wine and Food Festival
Momentum sent me down to Miami for the 2010 South Beach Wine and food festival. Here are some pictures of the tent, the festival and BubbleQ. While there I met Iron Chef Morimoto and handed him a Heineken.

For our 6 year anniversary,
Dawn got me a Cooking class and meal at the Miette Culinary studio. Chef Paul taught us how to make bruschetta, stuffed tomatoes, Spinach gnocchi with sage butter sause, pork loin stuffed with dried fruit, Peas with bacon and wilted lettuce, Polenta and Raspberry Sorbet for dessert. There were 12 of us for dinner and we were divided into teams. Me and Dawn were on team gnocchi, but also got the opportunity to help the other teams. Chef Paul took us around the kitchen station by station showing us to make each dish.
A great experience, highly recommended to anyone who likes to cook and eat good food.
Congrats to the Saints and the city of New Orleans. Both teams played well. i thought the colts had it early on. it seemed that as soon as Freeney got hurt, the saints easily drove down field.
Some of my favorite commercials, in no particular order:
Bridgestone, ‘Whale of a Tale’
Google, ‘Parisian Love
Doritos, ‘House Rules’
Snickers ‘Game’
Most of the commercials had me sitting there shaking my head, a bunch of stupid ones. There were others I liked, but this is all I feel like posting.
One of the Projects i got the opportunity to work on at Momentum last year was their activation at this years Winter Classic. I finally got some pictures of our space there. I worked on the game show (animaton story board on the left) as well as develop a logo lock up and a look and feel based on a print ad.

Coming in May, all of these figures feature unique printed parts and accessories. Blindbox, $2 each.
I went to CES last week with work. I was onsite for American Express OPEN’s booth. It seems as if everyone had 3D TVs. Also OLED’s, Organic Light emitting Devices, were in many of the big booths.
Working with AMEX there was pretty cool. I probably wouldn’t have gone to a small business seminar if it wasn’t for work, but i found them very interesting and motivational. made me really stop and think about my freelancing and what i could do to bring in more business.
I had the opportunity to go to CES because of my work on a touchscreen application that provides users an interactive way to learn what AMEX OPEN can do for their business.
Anyway, here are some of my pictures.

I cant believe they won.
I hate the NFL Network, cant they just let everyone watch their games?
The entire broadcast, the NFL network was calling it Thursday night football. I’m pretty sure yesterday was Saturday.
(screen grab is from nfl.com’s gamecast.)
Great video introduction to google chrome. Been using it pretty much exclusively since it launched for Mac.
